Ace Parking Accelerates West's EDGEucate Program
Ace Parking Partners with Western International University to Support Ace Employees in Reaching Their Higher Education Goals
SAN DIEGO, January 24, 2017 -- San Diego, CA – Ace Parking, a privately-held, nationwide provider of professional parking, ground transportation, facility maintenance and event logistics services to real estate owners and managers in a wide array of markets, has recently partnered with Western International University (West), an accredited university that has been helping working adults earn high-quality undergraduate and graduate degrees for over 35 years. This educational partnership will provide team members of Ace Parking with the opportunity to earn undergraduate and graduate degrees through a special, Ace Parking-tailored tuition reduction program.
Ace Parking team members will be able to attend undergraduate and graduate courses at West through a flexible, online format. Leveraging West’s EDGEucate program, annual tuition for Ace Parking team members will be capped, allowing these learners to take as many courses as they like in a calendar year, which provides the opportunity to graduate sooner with less tuition cost.
To help Ace Parking team members graduate sooner, West, through its prior learning assessment process, has approved many Ace Parking training courses to be eligible for West college credits. Team members who have taken Ace training classes may submit a list of completed courses for evaluation prior to enrollment.
“Ace Parking is excited to provide our team members with this great opportunity to further their education,” said Keith B. Jones, third generation owner and managing partner. “We have so many hardworking and motivated individuals who make our company great. It is a real privilege to be able to give something back to them, which helps them become even greater.”
West was established in 1978, and currently offers 16 undergraduate and graduate degree programs such as accounting, business, behavioral science and information technology.
Tracy Lorenz, President of West, said:
"University and educational partnerships, like this one with Ace Parking, help us to address the challenge of college affordability, an issue that prevents many working adults from pursuing or completing their college degree. With this partnership, Ace Parking is demonstrating an amazing commitment to the growth and development of their employees…and we’re proud to be a part of that initiative.”
