College Transfer Credit

College Articulation

Transfer credits from regionally accredited post secondary institutions, as recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), may be accepted for courses that are recommended by their issuing institutions for transfer.

Acceptance of credit by any institution is at the discretion of the receiving institution. It is the student’s responsibility to confirm whether or not credits accepted by or earned at Western International University® (West) will be accepted by another institution. For additional information, refer to the Transfer Of Credit section of the University catalog.

West's Student Advisors are available to assist you in estimating your total potential existing transfer credits, number of remaining courses, and anticipated graduation date and tuition cost for your selected program based on your unofficial transcripts from previous colleges. An official evaluation will be completed once the official documents are submitted with your admissions application.

Community Colleges

West has educational agreements with the following community colleges to assist students with transfer credits. To find out more about which transfer courses may be applied to a West degree, contact a student advisor at (866) 948-4636, or email
